Thursday:
Meet at 34 Roscommon Rd at 4:30, rack bikes (for those that have not brought the day before) drive to garage on Maribou corner in Vereeniging. Cycle to Deneysville for our breakfast stop, continue to Oranjeville, Jim Fouche and Frankfurt for a bite to eat. Then cycle to Reitz where we will ALL rack bikes & drive to Bethlehem, it is just too far to cycle - another 48 kms!!

Friday:
Rise and shine – after breakfast, we start cycling towards Clarens and the Golden Gate National Park, where we will stop for some refreshments at about 60 kms. Continue through the Park on the R712 and then onto the R74, a stop for lunch overlooking the Sterkfontein Dam is recommended – 130 kms. Cycle down Oliviershoek Pass to Bergville & on to Winterton.
Distance: 197 kms
Overnight: Winterton - D, B, B &L
Saturday:
After breakfast, the road is undulating, with some serious hills before & out of Estcourt, where we will have lunch. Continue cycling through beautiful countryside towards Nottingham Road, Balgowan to Lions River.
Distance: 118 kms
Overnight: Hebron Haven - D, B, B
Sunday:
Up early, rack bikes and drive to Pietermaritzburg.
GOOD LUCK FOR THE RACE - 106 kms.
Leave for Joburg after freshening up, there are showers at the finish where lunch can also be enjoyed.
