Day 1
Arrive in Port Elizabeth, set on the sweeping shores of Algoa Bay. Port Elizabeth provides a unique mix of abundant wildlife, long golden beaches and a rich historic heritage. Spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying a stroll along the beautiful Indian Ocean, or go on a 2 hour cruise in the Bay of Plenty.

Day 2
After breakfast depart for the famous Addo Elephant National Park which has a unique place in the story of the struggle to conserve the African elephant. It is home to the densest population of elephant in the world. A light lunch can be enjoyed at the restaurant before returning to Port Elizabeth.

Day 3
Depart for Jeffrey's Bay, home to the perfect wave!! International surfers flock to catch the legendary waves in this paradise of sunshine, aloes, dolphins, shells, perfect points and classic reefs.
The next 3 days are at leisure for you to enjoy the world famous supertubes!! If you are a beginner lessons for first time wave riders
can be organized . Or go shell collecting, sun tanning, shopping at the many designer boutiques, in fact, just unwind and relax.

Day 4 & 5
At leisure in Jay Bay. Excursions to outlying areas can be arranged.

Day 6
Depart on a 2 hour drive to Graaff-Reinet, established in 1786 and fondly known as "The Gem Of The Karoo". Have lunch in the lush gardens of the beautifully restored Drostdy Hotel with its old world charm and renowned hospitality. After lunch we explore some of the 200 proclaimed National Monuments this historic town has to offer. Amongst others, we visit the Reinet House, which has the largest grapevine in the world, the stem attained a circumference of 3.1 metres by 1983. Stretch's Court, which is a unique street restored in its entirety. We also visit the Old Library Museum, which hosts Karoo reptile fossils dating back over 200 million years.
Continue to the farm where we are welcomed by our friendly hosts Doug and Liz. Sundowners will be enjoyed in the lapa followed by a traditional Karoo barbecue.

Day 7
Up early, good bowl of porridge and set off on a 16 km cycle into New Bethesda, made famous by Athol Fugard's "Road to Mecca."
Visit the Owl House created by Helen Martins with her vision into the past!!
Enjoy lunch or coffee and a pancake in the picturesque little village itself, then cycle in a circular route back to the farm, about 15 kms. Once "home" relax next to the pool and then relish the taste of a delicious leg of Karoo lamb for dinner.

Day 8
Have breakfast and depart on the mountain drive route around the farm. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic spot overlooking the spectacular mountains in the vicinity. After lunch continue on the mountain drive, keeping a lookout for bat-eared fox, jackals, kudu, ribbok, steenbok, springbok and many other different species of animals and birds. This is a nature lovers paradise!!(distance can be at cyclists discretion).
Once home, sundowners and dinner will again be enjoyed.

Day 9
Cycle to the well known Valley Of Desolation, with its grotesque columns and precariously balanced piles of rock, had its origin in geological events that occurred many millions of years ago. Enjoy the spectacular views from this vantage point, and see eagles soar in front of your eyes!!! For the energetic, cycle back "home", or take the easier route and pack up your bike, and get a lift!

Day 10
After breakfast, depart for Port Elizabeth to catch your flight back home.
